Clayton Park Tailor Shop and Dry Cleaners was established by Mrs. Nga Tran in 2005. Mrs. Tran successfully operated the business at its present location until her retirement in 2014.

The business was purchased in April of 2014 by Dimitri Kotsiaftis. Mr. Kotsiaftis was born and raised in Sparta, Greece. He immigrated to Canada in 1967 and settled in Montreal, Quebec. During his more than 25 years in Montreal Dimitri worked exclusively in the custom tailored clothing and leather apparel business. During those years his work experience included time at Progress Brand Suits, and leather apparel manufacturers Zebra Boutique Leather and P & J Leathers. He then opened his own leather apparel manufacturing business, Derma International. One of his favourite tailoring clients during that time was a young singer named Celine Dion.

Dimitri moved to Halifax, Nova Scotia in 1994. The move to Halifax was to assist in the opening of the first Danier Leather retail location in Atlantic Canada. Over the years Dimitri has worked with many of the best custom tailoring shops in Halifax. Dimitri is a master tailor with over 35 years of professional experience. He looks forward to providing his high quality tailoring services to new clients as well as his many former clients throughout the HRM.
